Hard workin' girl

Well I just finished my whopping 2 1/2 hour shift. A friend from work called and asked i'd take the first part for her. I figured it was a few extra bucks so why not? So now here I am on a Friday night with nothing to do, I would have something to do if i didn't have to work at 5am tomarrow. Yuck. It's nice starting early so i get off early but it seriously cuts into the social time.

Why do they always have to be difficult names?

A new dinosaur has been discovered! It's called the Suuwassea emilieae One day i'll discover my own dinosaur, dad used to tell me that by the time I was a Paleontologist, all the dinos would already be found. Not true, I say! There is still more to be found. I doubt we've even scratched the surface of all the diffent species that actually lived. I mean how many animals in todays world are in the process of being fossilized? Probably not many, most dinos and fossils in general are preserved are because of rapid burial. Hmm that will be a thought I will have to ponder more. Now that I'm done with school for the year, I actually have to myself. Well, ok not yet cause I have this wedding to plan, but after that yes...time to myself will be great.
My cat Simon is meowing pitifully. If only I could speak Cat, I don't know if he's just meowing for the fun of it, I'm sure I'm neglecting him somehow. For some reason he likes to stand in the kitchen and meow. Simon looks like Puss 'n Boots from Shrek 2, an orange trouble maker, all he need at boots and a sombrero..and be able to talk.

My First Blog!

Hello Everyone,
Here I am posting my first blog, pretty exciting I think! I have three friends who have blogs, so I figured it would be fun to try it out. Hmm so whats going on with me? Well I am getting married in 19 days (gasp, is it really that close?!) Things are going well with that although I am alittle frightened about the Bachlorette party coming up. Hopefully Britta, Michelle and Tammi will be good to me. Well I think i'm going to start playing with this blog and see what wonderful things it can do!
