Wow, sorry for not writing for a month. Lots have happened and I have been very busy with work so when I get home I eat and go to sleep.
So today I was at work and was about to eat lunch. I bring a sandwich and I don't like soggy sandwiches so I put my sliced pickles into a baggie. Well the juice from the pickles leaked out of the bag and got all over the rest of my lunch which for the most part was not a big deal since almost everything was wrapped, except my apple. I save my apple for 3 o'clock cause that's when I take a few min. Break and relax and have a little snack. It smelled like well an apple but with the hint of pickle and I'd have to say the taste was the same. Very odd to be eating a Granny Smith (Washington grown of course) but to have the slight flavor of a pickle...Very strange.
For Christmas, one of the things I wanted was a messenger bag from the Lost Store on the ABC website. The reason that I wanted it was that it had the Oceanic Airlines logo on the flap of the bag. I thought it would be fun (in a sick kind of way) to use it as my carry-on luggage for whenever I fly next. So for Christmas, I get a huge box and I'm sure that it's the bag so I'm ripping into it and sure enough I pull it out, but wait, somethings missing. The Oceanic Airlines logo is not on the flap. So Justin e-mails the customer service people, we were planning on just sending it in and getting one with a logo. Today Justin gets the email back. Apparently, the whole lot of these messenger bags never got the logo put on and got shipped out. So they said keep the bag and we're going to refund you the full amount. What I want to know, was who was the idiot that forgot to check to see if the bags were done before shipping them out? The bag is still cool, it does have the Lost written in the corner of the flap so not all is lost (hehe get it) but man I wish I had the logo.
Other than that, Christmas was awesome. Justin and I stayed in Vegas and just relaxed all four days. This weekend is going to be crazy. Justin's parents are coming in tomorrow and are staying for almost a week. They are staying at our place till Sat then Sunday thru Wen or Thursday they are staying at the Excalibur. For New Years we're seeing Matchbox 20 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Casino, concert starts at 1opm so we'll be counting down to New Years with the band. Sunday we are seeing Blue Man group at their new home at the Venetian. Monday, we all might go hiking at Red Rock, plus there will be shopping and good eats mixed in. It will be a good time.

Lost
"Am I in a bunkbed?" Ha best line of the show. I'm not a big fan of Kate so this wasn't a favorite of mine. I was expecting more out of the extra film....i was sure Micheal messing around in the back of the comps would somehow make the bunker doors close. But man, that ending....how could Walt be on the computer...do the others somehow control the countdown..or have computers...man that would be messed up.
Things that go Bump in the Night
Well our Thanksgiving trip to San Jose and Lake Tahoe was fabulous. Had a great time meeting Brad and Peggy's family, thankfully I'm used to large family settings in a small house so it was no prob. An interesting thing happened to me Thanksgiving night, you see, their house is haunted. The ghost is a man who hangs out mainly in the hallway that connects the two bedrooms and the bathroom. I never have, but he is seen peering out of the hall and looking into the living room. Anyways, so Justin and I are sleeping in the spare bedroom. Justin gets up to use the bathroom. While he is gone I hear a noise of something being dragged very evenly, no lurching or uneven sounding. I think it was on the floor but could have been a drawer or something to that effect. The noise stop's just before Justin comes into the room. I don't know why, but I'm too freaked out to tell Justin what happened. I was so awake after that..it took some time to finally go back to sleep. So then that morning I tell justin what happened and we looked all around the room and nothing looked out of place. I tell Peggy and Brad and they look around and they don't see anything moved either. Well I suppose a ghost can make whatever noise it wants...Peggy tells me that the land the house is on used to be a ranch and the house wasn't too far away from their place. She thinks the ghost may be a ranch hand that hasn't left..who knows..at least it's a good story and I've had my first ghost experience.

Cat Hotel
So for Thanksgiving all of us are going to be gone from Wednesday thru Sunday...even Simon. While Justin and I are in CA and Sarah and Ryan are in AZ, Simon will be at the Cat Hotel in his own Kitty Condo. In Henderson there is a vet place that caters only to cats so half of the place is the vet and the other half is the hotel. Simon gets a large cage that has two level in it, he gets his own litter box of course, and they provide food and playtime. Hopefully he won't hate us when I pick him up Monday after work.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!

Lost
So tonight I could not watch Lost so can someone give me a quick update on what happened. Tonight was bowling league and we had to pre-bowl our next weeks game because no one could be there. Sorry!
Hiking Pictures
A boulder covered in Petroglyphs, you can't see the too well but it's full of them.
A cool petroglyph. It looks like a lizard of some sort but one back leg is longer than the other so maybe it's a tail? I don't know but petroglyphs fasinate me so much. Looking at these boulders covered in these amazing patterns I was trying to imagine a shamen slowly carving this symbols into the rock. Amazing.
Here is myself on the insane rock scramble to get around a dry waterfall. We had to climb straight up using only natural cracks and ledges in the rock. It was quite a rush. This is my fav pic from the hike (is it conceited to really like a picture of yourself?)
This is at the begining of the hike when we're still fresh. We sitting on the slot canyon wall, which is a really cool volcanic conglomerate of some type.
This is us in the Arizona Hot Spings, the water was so amazingly hot it was hot tub water hot. If only we didn't have to hike 3 miles to get there.

The weekends over already?
Ugh, I'm so far behind on my blogger updates its sad, this job thing is taking up too much of my life. So I am going to do a shortened version of what I have been doing for the last month.
My SVP meeting was awesome. The drive to Mesa with my friend Peggy was great, although we kept passing signs for the Grand Canyon and it was sad to pass them by. The talks were great although there were not as many interesting ones as last year my fav talk was one about a baby sauropod (long neck) skeleton that was found in Montana but had no head. The little thing was so cute, they think it's about 2-3 years old and is about the size of a large dog. It was great being among the elite of Paleontology. People watching is a favorite hobby of ours while we are there, there were lots of the "stereotype" of scientists there...mostly there was just a lot of bad fashion sense. The dance at the end of the meeting is always the best. It's like this desperation that was kept under control during the meetings snap, and everyone just goes crazy with drinking, dancing and the hookups. If only I could describe what it looks like to see a group of scientists dancing to euro-techno... Did I mention that Mesa has great shopping and antique stores. I spent way too much money. On the way home we stopped at Montezuma's Castle, which is Cliff Dwellings. I had never seen them in person, and they were breath taking. There was a natural depression into the limestone cliff and people were able to get themselves up the 30ish feet with ladders and natural walkways then build these living structures. I took pictures, I just have to finish the roll and get them developed.
Two weeks ago it was my birthday, I'm now 25 and can rent a car with out penalty! So that Friday I went to the DMV and got my Nevada Licence and Plates, hurray! I can drive my car again!
So for my birthday Justin took me to eat a Bucco de Beppo's an Italian family style restaurant. There's one in Seattle kinda by the Space Needle..oh I love that place. Justin got us a room at a resort by Lake Las Vegas (man made) so we walked around by the lake and they had a bunch of cool shops. We also went to the casino and gambled a little bit and had some beer. Next day we drove around Lake Mead (created from the Hoover Dam) visited some natural springs and enjoyed the beauty of the area. Sunday we went hiking with co-worker Kimberly to the Arizona Hot Springs. It was about a 5.5 mile loop hike, and it was very difficult. First we were walking in slot canyons, which is very dangerous because if it rains flash floods come roaring down very quickly. But it wasn't raining anywhere in the state so we were ok. The whole hike was in gravel which is very tiring to walk on. The hot springs were amazing. To get to them, we had to climb up a ladder which had hot spring water falling over it as well. The parks people made two pools of water by putting up small walls of sandbags that we had to climb over to get into the pools. I have pictures, so I will try to post them tomorrow. The pools were so warm, I just wanted to hang out in them all day but we were only half way through the hike so we ate lunch with out feet dangling in the water then we carried on. The last half was the hardest. There were a lot of dry waterfalls that we had to scramble up. The hardest part was there was a fall that was impossilbe to climb so we had to backtrack a bit them climb up near vertical rocks to get up and over the falls. I have pics of that as well...it was crazy. We got to see some petroglyphs which was amazing. Petroglyphs are drawings on rocks created by the early native people in the area. the hike took about 6 hours and I was sore for about half a week after that but well worth it.
Ok well that's pretty much what has been going on with me but Extreme House Makeover is going to be on soon so must go!

Lost
Anna Lucia is so dead. I don't care how many episodes it takes, but Sayid will get his revenge. I figured it would be Shannon that got it this episode just because the never showed her all season, but damn..shot by a tailaway. That was crazy that sayid and Shannon saw Walt, he must be powerful with whatever gift he has.
So from the previews for next week and the soon dead Anna Lucia has said in this episode, the others took the kids, that's why blondie from the tailaways asked if there were any children seen. Next week should be good, we finally get to see what the tailaways have gone through.

Fear at work
So our office building is going under major construction right now. They ripped off the front of the building and so now we have plywood covering the gapping hole. My office is at the front so I have a plywood wall to look at, and they are not fitted together so I have holes between the different sheets, so I get dust floating in and I can kinda see out. Anyways, so not only is this a pain because we can hear everything that's going on outside with the normal road noise and then our construction (It's very hard to work when there is a jackhammer right outside your plywood wall) but we have acquired a new problem....mice. I learned of this problem yesterday during out Monday morning meeting when one of our bosses mentioned that he has found mice poo in his office and that we're going to have pest control come out here. Well today this problem got a lot more personal. I was eating lunch at my desk today, munching away at my sandwich when my eyes wandered over to a pile of napkins that I have accumulated on my desk. Ontop of the napkins were two little mouse poo's. Fear just shot through me. Here I was, I had been at my desk all day touching everything that the mice were probably scampering all over during the night, and now I was eating a sandwich. I don't even want to thing about what that means. Ugh. So I talked to Angela our wonderful receptionist and she told me that I wasn't the only one with problems. With the construction we either disturbed where they were living or are just coming in through the plywood...probably both. So Angela found some disinfectant wipes and I cleaned my desk very well. Now I will be doing this every morning. Oh I'm so grossed out.

Spin
A couple weeks ago I found out that one of the women I work with, Kimberly, goes to the same gym as we do. So she was telling me about all the different classes she has tried and which instructor she liked. Then we decided that we should do a class together, and that class ended up being Spin. So for an hour yesterday, I peddled and sweated and hoped that something traumatic would happen to someone in the class so we could stop. That was the hardest workout I had ever been through. My legs are so sore...I dread leaving the apartment because that means I have to go down stairs, and I also hate getting home because I have to go up them. I also do not enjoy sitting because my rear is sore from the bike seat. But the sad thing is, I enjoyed it, and I'll be going back.

Lost
Ahh, so Jin speaking perfect english was a dream...whats up with the chicken costume, is it because Hurely worked at that chicken joint? I loved the flash back scene with the garden gnomes..priceless. I was surprised this show actually ended on a happy note, except after 40+ days living on fish and coconuts that food is going to be havoc on their stomachs.
So is the "sickness" killing off what used to be 23 survivors from the tail? That teddy bear they showed in the preview for next week was really creepy. I wonder if that one of the "others" or a sick tailaway.
Looks like the tailaways live in the same tunnel complex that Desmond did. I could see the Darma Initiative logo on the wall on the closing shot after they discovered Bernard, Roses husband. That was so sweet, I wonder how she knows he is alive. Probably just on faith I guess. Good episode, it was nice to get a show that was for the most part happy, instead of constant edge of seat suspense.

I'm thinking that we're just not meant to be...
Ok, so late last week Jason, Justin's bro sent the marriage certificate to the county. Early this week I called and asked on the status. I was told that it was sent out Friday and so that meant I should have it within a day or two. Well two days pass and no marriage license. Then Justin gets a call from Jason. They sent it to him. Why would they do that? I included our address on the envelope they would have received from Jason. How did they get Jason's address? Perhaps Jason sent the certificate in a different envelope and wrote his address on it? So I guess he has thrown it in the mail and its hopefully headed our way. I wonder where it will end up. I'm thinking that some cosmic power does not want us married. Did we both screw with Karma at some point and now it's coming back to bite us? Geeze all I want is to drive my friggin car. At this point however I'll probably wait until after my b-day to go to the dmv so I don't have to take the written test. I've already been without my car for a month, so what will another one do?

AARRGHH!! She's with the Others!!! OH that was just cruel, that the Others had her work against them. All this time we assumed that since she was a tailaway that she would be a "good guy."
Well we know know what the hatch is all about...a science expierment gone bad or a cruel science expieriment to see how long a person can push a button. I doubt that we've seen the last of Desmond.
Next week looks like there is going to be tension over the food. Not that I blame them or anything, after 40+ days, i'd be sick of coconuts and fish. I hope we'll get too see more people next week, it's the third week and all we've really seen is Jack, Kate and Locke, plus alittle of Micheal, Jin and Sawyer.

The Corpse Bride and other weekend goings ons
All in all I had a fabulous weekend, very relaxing. Friday I was in need of some serious retail therapy so I went to Wet Seal and bought some clothes for work and play, Justin went to his favorite store, Hot Topics and got a cool Goonies t-shirt and a zip up jacket that has the Transformers logo on it. After shopping we went to The District for dinner at Balboa's. Rayna, it is the new style of shopping centers that you blogged about quite awhile ago.
Saturday, we saw a matinee of Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride. I loved it, but I also loved Nightmare Before Christmas and a lot of people didn't like it. I saw the preview of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and man was it dark and intense. This is going to be a good movie.
That night we went to the strip and met up with one of Jusitn's old co-workers from the Home Depot, she just moved down here as well so we met in a awesome outdoor bar called Carnival. The place was a mad house it took us about 20min to find an empty table. There was an 80's cover band that were decent, but I shuttered when they tried to do Beastie Boys.
Us girls got up and danced for a little bit, and got accosted by a drunk guy. But everything got better when he opened his mouth and said "I"m from Scotland" in that wonderful accent. It was his 21st B-day, it was wonderful listening to him speak...even if it was slurred. As soon as his friends dragged him from the dancing area, security came up to them and told them to leave. We left not long after that, it was midnight and Ryan had to work at 8am.
Sunday we just lazed around, it was awesome.

Lost
Besides Michaels flashbacks and the very end, did anyone else feel like they were watching the same episode all over again? Very frustrating, and what's up with the promo of this episode of The Fate of all the Survivors will be Revealed. Yeah there's lots of food in the hatch, but unless Desmond shares, they ain't getting any.
When they showed the shark under water, did anyone else see a symbol of some sort near the tail? Roommate Ryan thinks it looked like the symbol that was on all the food canisters.
So next week we finally get to meet the Others, and the survivors from the back of the plane so that will be cool. I wonder if they will beable to escape next week also, or if it's going to get dragged out.

The dangers of the Strip
This article is just sick. A guy drove into a crowd of people on the Strip on purpose. One dead and 13 injured, I think 3 are in critical condition. This is a constant worry of mine when I'm on the Strip. The sidewalks are constantly crowded, and there are hardly any barriers between the Bvld and the sidewalk. If a free show is going on, like the Sirens show at Treasure Island, forget it, you're walking on the street. If this had been on a weekend evening, it would have been much worse. I think we're going out Friday night to the Strip....I think I'll stick to one Casino.

LOST
Wow what an intense intro. I can't believe that someone is actually Living in the hatch..and Jack knows him. The guys had to have been down there since the early 80's late 70's? when did DOS computers start coming out? I wonder what he was injecting himself with....to keep whatever he is quarantined for under control? Argh, too many questions, too early in the season to know the answers.
Shannon's "vision" of Walt was very creepy, anyone catch what he was saying?
Next week the focus on the boat more, can't wait to see what happens with them! I hope Walt scares the crap out of the "others", make some more polar bears appear or something.
Great premiere, looking forward to screaming at the TV in frustration for the next several months. =)

Oh the pain..
Last weekend Justin and I joined the Las Vegas Athletic Club. So I've been going about everyother day, and boy am I tired. So far I have been in the women's gym on the stair stepper thing. Today I finally went into the pool and did some laps. Wow. In about 15 min. I was whipped, boy am I out of shape. I was impressed that I could still do a flip turn. So I think about everyother time I'll be in the pool or in the gym. There are a lot of classes to take so I'll probably try to get into those once I get some sort of endurance up.
Other than that, we have now lived in Las Vegas for about two months. Everything is going great, I still love it out here. We're going out tonight, get a couple drinks somewhere. Probably not the Strip, that's too much work to get there..park...walk around..drink...walk back to parking garage...then drive home. Ugh too much for tonight I think.

Pics galore!

I seem to have loaded this pics in no order at all, but anyways I took pics of the state signs as we drove by them. This one is Nevada.

Montana

Utah

Idaho

Hmm sorry this is sideways. Anyways this is poor Simon on his first night in a hotel. His eyes look really strange (at least I notice it) because he's dopped up on kitty mellow pills.

Well here we are before we take off on our moving adventure. I thought it was pretty sweet that our Uhaul had a flouescent rocks on them. Nerdy, I know.

Oh, our last trip to my favorite bar, which I can't spell right now. We are with our newly engaged buddies Britta and Kris, We Miss You!

Mmm, this lovely pic of my muddy feet is from Folk Fest in Canada. It rained all night early in the week, and the result is this, walking around the festival in muck that went up past my feet. I had to throw those sandles away. Sigh.

No Vegas wedding after all..
Lets see...So last Friday I called the Moorhead County Recorder and told them that no one has any idea were the license is. So she was going to send a blank copy first to Pastor Stu then he's sending it to us, then I'll send it to Tammi, who will send it to Jason, who will then send it to the county. All in all, I get my original wedding date which is what I wanted(although a Vegas wedding would have been fabulous). Hopefully this whole process does not take long. My tabs are now overdue, and I really like my car and like to drive it so hopefully it'll only be like two weeks.
This weekend was fabulous. We arrived to Lake Tahoe late Friday night. Peggy and Brad were not at the lake yet, so we decided to stay at Ceasars Palace (we got the last room!) The next morning, I stayed in bed while Justin went downstairs to look for the buffet and to throw afew dollars into his favorite game, the Wheel of Fortune. He comes into the room and wakes me up and tells me that he just won $1000!! Woo Hoo! Our whole weekend now became "free" and boy did we use that money. Along the main road in Tahoe were two craft fairs that we visited while waiting for Peggy and Brad to show up. One of the booths was a rock/fossil sale, as you can imagine we had a really good time there. I found some really good smelling candles, made by a mother and daughter. They don't use the wicks that have the metal in them, which is really nice and the scents I picked up were a combo of Lavender and another scent that I can't spell. Both are really relaxing and I will use when I take a bath before bed.
Peggy and Brad showed up around 1pm, we did some grocery shopping and just hung out at the house the rest of the day. That night we played Jenga, and Yatzee and I had lots of rum&cokes. Yum. I was smart, in that I drank a glass of water for every drink I had so I was feeling just fine in the morning, unlike Brad.
Sunday, the four of us did some shopping in the morning. We visited a sweet rock shop that Justin and I discovered last year on our honeymoon, then we went to a really cool pampered pet store "Two Dogs and a Cat" it was called. I got Simon a red studded collar, and a catnip filled George W. Bush (he loves it, Justin and I enjoy watching Simon flip him in the air and chew on his head.) The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent on their boat in Lake Tahoe. That night, we watched fireworks from the boat and then headed back in. We ate dinner at a locals bar and there was a Jose Cuervo girl there handing out free Cuervo t-shirts, we all got one, hurray!
Monday, Justin and I packed up and took off around 11. Lucky Peggy and Brad are "working remotely" so they are staying at Tahoe for the rest of the week.
So that was my fun weekend. Hope everyone else had a good time.

The next morning, I stayed in bed while Justin went downstairs to look for the buffet and to throw afew dollars into his favorite game, the Wheel of Fortune.

All I wanted was my NV drivers license.....
So two weeks ago now, I went to the DMV. My tabs expired yesterday, and I wanted to get the whole DMV thing out of the way. I was all over their web-site and had put together a folder of all the paperwork that I would need, I even got there an hour before it even opened to try to get through quickly.
I was quickly shut down. Here I thought I had everything, but apparently my car insurance was not correct because I didn't have my name on it, even though it's under Justin's name but all my car info was on it. Secondly, I found out that I don't have the correct marriage license. Apparently, the one I have been using to change my name is the pretty copy and not the legal one. So I called the county recorder for Ottertail county, which is the county we got married in and got the info I needed to request a marriage license sent to me. So I send them my $9 check and all that stuff. Almost a week later, I get a call from the Ottertail county recorder saying that they didn't have the license, apparently the licenses go to where we applied for the license, which was a diff county, so they would forward the letter on.
Well now I waited about a week, and no license, so I called Clay county (were we applied at) to see what was going on. Apparently, they never got a license after our wedding. So they assumed we never go married. So, since they didn't have the license they suggested calling the officiant that did the wedding, maybe the license accidentally got filled away instead of being sent in. This whole time my mind is reeling...we're not officially married...we're not married....
I call the Pastor that performed the wedding and left a message. He calls back a few hours later, and has no idea where it is. He says he usually gives it to the couple to take care of, but I have no idea if that actually happened. Justin's brother, Jason, the bestman also does not remember what happened to it after it was signed.
So tomorrow I have to call back to the county, and try to figure out what to do. If we are not married, we have already decided to do a Vegas wedding. But who knows what will happen. Tomorrow after work we are leaving for the long weekend to Lake Tahoe so at some point I'll beable to write and tell you all what ends up happening.

An Adventure in a Bathroom
Last night was suppose to be a fun night, going out to dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant then going drinking/dancing at a club in a near by casino for a co-workers, girlfriends b-day. So Justin and I got all gussied up and met everybody at the restaurant. This place was amazing, it's set on a hillside overlooking The Strip and the rest of Las Vegas oh it was beautiful. The food was good, and we had a good time talking with everyone there. Our plates were taken away and people started ordering coffee to get some energy for the coming partying. I on the other hand, started feeling really strange, like I was going to throw up. So I told Justin that I was going to the restroom. I went into the handicap stall, and was glad that no one else was inthere just in case I did throw up. I got really chilly and sweaty, and I leaned against the wall. All of a sudden, I find myself lying on the floor....I wondered why I was on the floor but just kinda stayed there for a moment then hauled myself up and it finally dawned on me...I had just fainted. So I got myself back to the table, and told Justin that we had to leave. We paid our part and left, with my head throbbing because I must have knocked my head on the tile floor, one knee was also really hurting I had managed to skin it somehow in the fall. Ugh, thankfully I fainted away from the toilet and had not knocked my head onto that.
So now I have a skinned knee, and the right side of my neck is really sore. I know why I fainted, I'm hypoglycemic, which is basically the opposite of a diabetic. Instead of not making enough insulin, I make too much and when there is not enough sugar in my body for the insulin my blood pressure plummets and I faint. Hurray.
So I think I'm going to have to find a doctor to talk to about this and maybe talk to a dietian so I know which foods to eat to keep this under control. This is the second time I've fainted, the first time was in Barnes&Noble infront of lots of people. Well, my neck hurts. I'm going to bed.

Camping Weekend
This weekend, Justin and I went camping with a bunch of people from work camping in Utah. We rode in co-workers, Rick's mom's RV. The ride was suppose to be about 3.5 hours, and counting us there were 7 ppl in the RV, one of which was five year old Reanna. Driving behind us was a couple, Lance and Leslie. About two hours into the ride, both of the rear passenger side tires blew. Rick called up the nearest town and talked to a tire shop, and they said they would get there eventually. Eventually, ended up being about 2 hours later, Lance and Leslie left long ago to continue on to the campsite to find the rest of the group and secure spots for us. So the tire guy came and had both tires replaced in about 45 min. and by this time it was dark. So we with the tires finally fixed we continued on. All this time, Reanna the five year old, is bouncing about on a sugar high, her mom keeps feeding it to her hoping for the sugar crash sleep. We finally pull into the camp site at midnight, and everyone is up waiting for us and drinking. The group had found a tent spot for Justin and I, so at least we didn't have to search for a flat spot in the dark..that is not easy. Thankfully, Justin and I are now pros at putting up our tent in dark and had it up and all our stuff in it in no time. We stayed up for a bit chatting with the group but the long day wiped us out so we turned in.
I didn't realize how high in the mountains we were so we didn't pack really warm, but we made it though the night without too much misery. The next day (Saturday) was awesome. Most of the group brought their mountain bikes so they took off early and went riding, Reanna and her mom went to Grandma's cause they lived really close so at the campsite was just Justin and I. We walked to the general store and Justin bought a day's fishing license. We were going to hike on this trail that goes all around the nearby lake, but found out that a huge part of the trail was underwater due to the large amounts of snow they received this winter. So we headed back to camp and Justin fished and I napped and relaxed. The biking group got back around 2, and banged and bruised because the trail they went on was harder than they thought. Some went fishing but most stayed back and starting having beers. Dinner was amazing, we had grilled chicken, salmon, pork, baked potatoes and white and yellow corn. Yum. Everyone stayed up late drinking and BSing.
Today (Sunday) we had a great breakfast of scambled eggs and bacon, everyone helped clean up and we took off. The ride home was thankfully uneventful. Reanna was getting really annoying but thankfully her mom was able to keep her occupied in the back of the RV with a movie.
In other news, I'm impatiently waiting for Season 1 of Lost to come outon DVD. I think it's around Sept. 6ish. I'm also waiting for the Lost season to start up. I'm on the mailing list for Lost, and they e-mailed out the first three episode names I remember the first one is, Man of Faith, Man of Science. Which I can only assume is Locke and Jack. There was a blurb about Lost in People and it said that the first episode they go into the shaft and the third episode reveals I think why it is there.
Well that's it for now, I swear I'll try to get posting more.

The end of my first week
Ah, Saturday! Now this workin' girl has just finished her first week on the job. Ok well it wasn't a full week since I started on Tuesday but I think it's close enough. I think once I get past not knowing what in the hell is going on, I'll be ok. I already like the place. The people that I will be working with are very nice and easy to talk to. There is just a lot to learn, but all that will come in time. Yesterday I received my own company cell phone, so now I have two cell phones which is kind of odd. I'll also be getting my own business cards soon, Justin got his yesterday. I have a computer, but the cube that it's in will not be my area because that area was promised to someone else so they are trying to figure out where to put me. On Thursday's for lunch abunch of people like to go to this fast food place called Fat Burger, I didn't go this week because I had brought food but I think I will check it out this coming Thursday. Then on Friday's is when the office goes out to lunch, it takes about 15 min of arguing to decide where to go, usually the guys want either Mexican or bbq and the girls want Sweet Tomatoes (salad buffet) or Panera's. Yesterday Panera's won, so I had a very yummy chicken cesar sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup.
Thursday, on the stroke of 5pm when everyone was leaving a huge rainstorm came in and just started pouring. This was my first experience of a rain storm in the desert. It was unbelievable. In about 10 min, the roads started flooding and intersection were full of water. To get to my place there is a huge hill to drive up. It was incredible to be driving (very slowly) up this hill and on the other side of the road watching a river flowing stretching to the middle road. Lightning had struck and taken out the power in our area which also sent down the railroad arms right in front of my apt. So I sat for 20 min, in traffic, looking at my apartment and just waited very impatiently until the railroad ppl came and lifted the arms. I was very glad to get home.

I Have A JOB!!
Woo Hoo! I am now an employed Staff Geologist! Hurray!!!!!!!! I am working for Broadbent and Associates, which is also the company that Justin works for. Thankfully we are not working together..we would not make it through one day without wanting to kill eachother. I am working in the Air Quality area of the company, which deals with companies that make emissions into the air, like dust. Since we are surrounded by mountains, dust and pollution get stuck and hang in the city as smog and is not very attractive or probably healthy so we write permits that limit the amount of emissions that a plant or company can make during a year. Thankfully I won't be stuck in the office all the time, I'll get to go on site inspections eventually so that will be fun. I even get to have my own pair of steel toe shoes. I'll also get put onto other projects when needed, which is cool, I'd much rather have diversity than doing the same thing day after day. I'll get my own work space at some point, I'll even get a company cell phone and my own business cards!
I always hate starting new jobs just because you never know what is going on. You don't know the people, where anything is, how anything works, and you don't know the lingo. So wish me luck in my first week of my first career!

In Vegas at Last!!!
Hello Everyone!
After three long days of driving we finally arrived at our apartment complex on Friday. Because of the extreme heat we could only unload in the mornings so we finished unloading the U-Haul on Sunday, the heat has been outrageous here, even for Las Vegas, we have been getting record breaking highs of up to 120. I guess this is heat that is usually in August but the monsoons have been staying in Mexico instead of traveling up here.
Our internet got turned on today and our cable TV yesterday. We are all almost unpacked but Justin and I have lots of totes that have to go into storage so those are on the balcony at the moment. Justin and Sarah are now on their 2nd days of work and both are liking their jobs. Ryan went in today for an interview at Sarah's work place so hopefully that goes well. There is a job opening at Justin's work place for a geologist so I need to find my pen drive and pull up my resume and get to finishing that.
Simon is finally adjusting to the new place. He has had a lot of stress with the move and he is finally getting brave enough to wander around the apartment and is finding his lounging spots, he really likes the window seat in our computer/guest room.
Rayna, did you know that we are only like 4 hours apart now? I think that's pretty exciting.
Well things to do, lunch to eat, Later!

Leaving Fargo
I'm back now from the Folk Fest and had a great time. I will try to remember to post on it later. Justin and I picked up the U-Haul today man is it huge, I don't think we're going to fill it but I guess that's better than not having enough room. We packed the truck for about 4 hours then Sarah and Ryan left to eat and relax so the rest of the day we have been packing up the remainder of the random stuff that is laying about. My brother is cashing in big time on our move. He is moving into a new apartment in a month or two with a friend and has no furniture to his name so now he is the proud owner of a kitchen table, grill, bookcase, 5-disk CD player, and an easy chair.
tomorrow will be packing the rest of the truck then cleaning like mad. My aunt is coming over to help thankfully so cleaning will go pretty quickly.
We take off on Wednesday around 9-10, so this will be my last post until we get the computer hooked up in our new place. So think happy thoughts for us over the next week as we travel cross county.

Back from Las Vegas
The three of us are now back safe and sound from our trip to Las Vegas. We had an absolutely fabulous time. It took us two days to find an apartment that we finally liked and in the end we had to choose between two that we both really liked and only blocks from eachother. The area we will be living in is a new section of town so everything is new, including our apartment so that will help with our electricity bills. Our apartment complex is called Pacific Islands. The only thing that has us worried is that we never saw a three bedroom apartment. I'm used to having the apartment people showing us apartments that people still live in, but apparently that is not done in NV so they have model apartments to show. So all we ever saw was two bedroom apartment models that had been decorated. So while we were in the model apt we were looking at the floorplan of the bedroom trying too get a feel of the place. We actually don't know if we have the place yet. We are waiting for the results of the credit and criminal check. But I'm not expecting any problems.
Justin visited his work place and we got to meet his co-workers. Everyone that works there are young, even the owners are in their thirties. Apparently, everyone gets along really well and do things outside of work. So Justin came home with an armload of papers to go through from the company. Sarah was able to find a job at a different environmental firm and her boyfriend may beable to get a job there as well working in an area that tests strengths of different materials. I however am a different story. Justin and I went to the Target that I was to be transferring too, I asked to talk to the HP person and ended up talking to her on the phone....while we were both in the same building. Apparently I was not important enough for her to come down from her office. So she quickly let me know that there were no openings and that was it. So now I have no job and my last day is tomorrow (Saturday). Oh well, I didn't want to work for them anymore anyways, it was just a way to get money coming in right away. So I think I'll start looking around on Monster.com and see if there are any cool geology jobs in the area.
The rest of our time was spent relaxing by the pool during the day and going to the Strip at night. I love the Strip. We had such a good time walking the area, we watched the waterfountain at the Bellagio, the Sirens show at Treasure Island, and the Volcano eruption at the Monte Carlo...all free outside shows. The temps were awesome, about 100 degrees everyday.
Well I'm tired, it's been along day. I'll write again soon. We're still trying to get that last minute packing done!

Off to Las Vegas
In about an hour Justin, Sarah and I will be taking off for the cities and start our trip to Vegas filled with job hunting, apartment hunting and of course lots of night time fun on the strip. Our flight leaves at like 7am tomorrow so we'll be staying at friends of Justin's. We are not bringing our laptop with us and I'm not sure if the hotel we are staying at has a computer or not so you will probably not hear from me until Saturday. So I hope you all have a good week, I know we will.

Moving Update
Well we are moving during the middle of July. Our friends Sarah and Ryan are also moving with us. Sarah had taken the mining job in northern NV but they have not told her when she was starting, there was no place to live and just not being very helpful, so when Justin got the Vegas job she said screw this and told them that she changed her mind and would not be moving there. She has already gotten a few calls from geology firms out in Vegas so she will be flying out with us to interview and help look for a three bedroom apt with us. Ryan (Sarah's boyfriend) is staying out here and working but he will not have any problems finding a job, he likes landscaping and construction so that will be easy getting him a job. I right a way will transferring (unfortunately) to the Target in Henderson, then looking around after we get there for a job.
Here is the link to Broadbent, where Justin will be working.

Awesome news!
Great news everybody!!! Justin just accepted a job in Las Vegas! How exciting is that? He is in Chicago, visiting his buddies and staying at his Mom and Dads place and comes back on Thursday. He is calling is work place tonight and having the over night freight crew save boxes so I can pick them up in the morning and start packing stuff that we don't need. Don't know when we are moving yet, but we need to fly there in probably a couple weeks and find an apartment. I'm so pumped up that I want to start packing today, but I have tomorrow off so if I can get those boxes I can get at least some things done.
I will post more information when I get it!

Lost article
Today on Yahoo, I saw this article that you all should read. It is the official announcement of Michelle Rodriguez to the cast. All the producers said is that they wouldn't limit her to being in flashbacks. So she's alive on the island somewhere. I just visited the the new Oceanic air website. It's fun and should be checked out. I found a few easy to find hidden things but need to look up Hurleys cursed numbers and seeing what they do. Enjoy.

Summer Projects
With the school year behind us now (as well as school in general, hehehe) we have been busy with our summer projects. The first thing that we had to do it clean the whole apartment. We are both pack rats so this is always a challenge. It's hard for us to part ways with stuff, but sometimes you just gotta let some stuff go. We ended up bringing like 6 garbage bag and shopping bags full of clothes to a local thrift store. So now the apartment is generally clean. Our computer room is a disaster because now both Justin and my computers are down so they are torn apart and on the floor, now we just have the laptop.
My other project was to organize our wedding photos. All summer and fall after the wedding I was getting pictures from friends and relatives. The very first round of pictures I received I threw in a photo album so I could show to family and friends. After I got the album together I received combined, a 3 inch stack of photos. That is a lot of pictures.
So since yesterday I have been slowly pulling out sections of the albums and putting them all in order with the other pictures and taking out the similar pictures, ect. Just to give you another idea of how many pics we have, it has taken me the past two day, probably about 4 hours work, just to get through from the pre-ceremony pics to the end of the wedding and entering the limo with a grand total of 170 pictures. And that's with pictures weeded out. Tomorrow is the reception which is where most of the photos come from. Then I'll have to go out and try to find a wedding album that I like that will fit them all.
Another thing I have going on this summer is reading. I miss reading (for fun) so much. The school year just makes it impossible to get even a short story read. This summer I am reading a lot of books that are coming out as films. I have already finished the chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis for the movie The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, the stories were great and it is a fun, quick read. I'm currently reading the complete set of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will probably catch it at the dollar theater. I have to read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix again to remember what's going on so I'll be ready when Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince arrives. I don't remember when Goblet of Fire comes out to theaters but I'll have to reread that as well. I also want to read War of the Worlds, the preview looked sweet so that will be exciting to see.
Whew! Lots of reading to do, that will be fun.
In other news, Justin applied for a job outside of Las Vegas, has had a short phone interview and they are right now contacting his references. There are two NDSU Alums working there so I think that helps quite abit. Justin was told that he will be contacted next week, and hopefully with "some numbers." I would love to live down there. I have been to Las Vegas and thought it was great. I would move there in a heart beat.

The season finale of Lost
Well I didn't like that science teacher anyways, what a way to go, what did he expect he was flinging the thing around.
So the hatch is finally opened, no twinkies and TV dinners though...just a long ladder going who knows where.
Lostzilla has to be mechanical, the sounds it was making just didn't seem real. When Locke was being dragged there was no claws or tail grabbing onto him, it could have been some sort of snare contraption.
Walt gets kidnapped. I was clinging on to Justin's knee and scooted up to the edge of the couch. These people we believe are the "others," did any one notice that the girl that threw the bomb looked like she was 16? She may be Danielle's daughter. Sawyer gets shot, I hope they all make it back to the island. They were a day out so maybe they can float on the remaining parts of the raft.
Charlie took took the drugs, that was really disappointing, I hope it is discovered and he gets some sense slapped into him from Claire.
Well it will be a long wait until next fall.

Lost
Sorry this is late. I'm still in Chicago so last night we were visiting one of Justin's aunt and uncle. Then we saw the midnight showing of Star Wars. It rocked. So Justin's Mom kindly taped the show for me and we watched it this morning.
I liked the little mini flashbacks of the characters, I think those were more incitefull than a show full of one characters flashbacks. During Jacks flashback, he is talking to that really nosy chick that I've seen in quite a few movies, anyways Justin says she's a character on the next season. She said while talking to Jack that she was sitting way at the rear, so who knows there could be a whole different group of survivors (or just herself) on some other part of the island.
So Danielle (the French lady) finally shows herself, the "run, hide or die," I think, got the point across to the group. She mentioned that her little girl got taken away. I wonder if she is still alive and if we will see her, by now she'd be 16.
I can't believe that Jack thinks they can all fit in that hatch thing, why would he think that thing would be safe in the first place. I don't remember who said it, but I'm sure it does lead somewhere and it could probably go straight to them. I think they would be safer in the caves with traps set and weapons made.
I was happy to see that Jin and Sun had that talk, it was so sweet. I'm glad that Jin finally had the courage to say what he's wanted to all this time.
The whole boat launch was intense, I thought the whole message in a bottle thing that Charlie did was really nice. Unfortunately I don't think it will make it to anyone. Justin read I believe that something attacks the boat so that's why they come back.
Did anyone else think that Lostzilla sound almost mechanical?
OK, so what's up with this whole time Danielle has been talking about the "black rock" and it's actually a sailboat. How crazy was that? How far inland were they? Craziness.
So next week, the others take Claire's baby. And lots of other crazy stuff goes down, ugh I hate cliff hangers and you know this one will probably be a doozie.

I'm all graduated
Yesterday I became a college graduate. Strange to think that I have a college degree, well I don't have it yet, I'll get the actual diploma in July. The whole event went well. I'll post pictures when I get them. The ceremony only lasted two hours, none of us thought it would that short. I made it across the stage without tripping, there was a lot of hugging afterwards. I'll miss some of my classmates, and not miss others. I'll write more later when I get pictures, Justin's family is up and we're about to take off and visit some relatives of mine.

Lost
Well I have to say that I was abit unimpressed with Kates flashback. It just showed that she's constantly on the run and she got her friend killed. I'm not expecting to be blown away with every flash back but I hope quit doing them soon. There is only so much you can show about a person before you get bored.
Finally more islanders are being brought into the show. It was nice seeing someone else speaking up with what they think.
That raft is sure creating some drama. Who would have thought that Sun would try to poison Jin even if it was Kates idea. Sawyer bringing Kates past out was pretty vicious, there are going to be major trust issues coming up soon.
I'm glad to see that Locke finally brought people out to the hatch. I agree with Sayid, that thing was meant to stay hidden and unopened. Locke should be very cautious, especially after receiving that warning from Walt. Locke knows of Walts abitilies and should listen. But I guess it wouldn't be an interesting show if that was done.
Next week looks interesting, the french lady finally comes out of hiding, the boat looks like it's launched and lots of screaming.

Quick Note
Just finished watching Regis and Kelly. They had on the actress who plays Kate on Lost. She says that there are, counting tonight, 3 episodes left and the last episode will be 2 hours long. She also said that there will be a glimpse of Lostzilla during the last show.
Can't wait for tonights show!

Movie Stuff
Well last night I watched on TV the premier of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It was sweet because they added a whole bunch of deleted scenes and at least two of them I was hoping to see in the theater. I enjoyed the scene in Diagon Alley with Draco and Lucius in the shop selling their illegal muggle things. Then Harry giving Mr. Flich the SpellQuik form. I think its so funny that poor Mr.Flich isn't magical. That's probably why he's so bitter.
During some of the commercials, there would be mini interviews and scenes for the Goblet of Fire. They showed Hermione dancing with the "enemy" Victor, her dress was really pretty, what I wanted to see was Rons suit but unfortunatly they didn't so I'll just have to wait.
A preview of the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe played during a commercial. That looks sweet, I only read this first book and not the rest so I'll have to go to the library. Has anyone else seen the original movie they made of this book? My friend Jeni had it, it was pretty corny but animatronic Lions are not that realistic.
Also saw a preview for the new Charlie and the chocolate Factory. For those of you that don't know, Jonny Depp, will be Willy Wonka. It looks like it will be a fun movie.
Well that's it for now. I'm all done with classes and just have two finals this week before graduation on Friday! Justin's parents are coming on Wednesday and his brother Friday morning.
Can't wait for Wednesday's Lost, it'll be a intense one!

Lost
Sorry about not posting last night. Justin and I are scrambling to finish a paper so I only had time to watch the show.
I could not believe Locke in this episode, he kept trying to lie and kept getting called out on it, you would think he'd get a clue that his lies aren't working. Especially, if Sayid is the one asking the questions.
Boone's funeral was sad. I think they actually showed more of the other survivors during that scene than the rest of the show combined. I did think the little talk that Sayid gave for Boone was really great, and heart felt but I'm sure he was doing it for Shannon.
I thought Locke wearing he bloody shirt for most of the episode was really a bad choice, he even tried to be all sympathetic to Shannon while he was wearing her brothers blood, I don't think so buddy.
The side story with Charlie taking the baby so Claire could rest was cute. I think he's going to try to fill the "dad" role for the little "turnip-head" as Charlie calls him. It's absolutely hilarious that the baby would only quite to Saywers voice. Watching him read a car magazine in those glasses was way to cute.
Did anyone noticed how good Sun looked? She was wearing jeans and a fitted t-shirt, not covered head to toe like Jin wanted her to be. I think being separated from Jin is finally letting her be herself.
Sayid's background story was really sad, like they all are. It's too bad he had to lose a friend to try to find his love.
Everything in this show is so intense right now, there only 3 episodes left. Next week will be interesting since people are going to start fighting over the raft.

Everclear
Well last night, Justin and I went to see Everclear in concert, one of my favorite bands. The concert was suppose to start at 7:30, but of course it didn't start until 8. We had gotten there early, so we were right up at the stage. There was only one guy in front of me and so we had a really good view of the stage. The opener was cool, it was a local band from the cities called Holiday. They played until 8:45, then we had to wait until 9:30 until Everclear finally came on. That's when the craziness started.
Now that Everclear was on, the people in the back started pushing forward and trying to get up front. This was causing huge waves to go through the people in the front, being pushed back, so we pushed back because we didn't want to lose out sweet spots. On both sides of us, there were couples and the guys were desperately holding on to their significant other, like Justin was doing, so us girls wouldn't get knocked onto the floor. Art (the lead singer) even asked people to knock it off, but of course no one was going to listen.
People were starting to crowdsurf, and Art was like, "Please, crowdsurfing is like so 1994." One kid who looked like he was 15 and drunk, got surfed up to the stage right after they finished with "I will buy you a new life," and like stole the mic and started horribly singing, Art was trying to ask him to get off the stage but finally some security guys had to escort him off.
Other than the pushing the concert was great, it was really cool seeing him so close. I was so close that I could see his heavily tattooed arms. On his lower right arm, he has all three Powerpuff Girls flying, he does have a little girl so I'm guessing that's her fav cartoon.
They played a wide variety of songs from their albums, and the last half they played radio hits, Volvo Driving Soccer Mom, Wonderful, Father of Mine, I will buy you a new life, even played two new songs off a new record although he didn't say when it's coming out.
For the encore, he pulled a bunch of girls up on stage and played Jenny (867-5309). It was lots of fun, we didn't get home until 11pm and poor Justin had to work at 5am. When the alarm went off however, he told me to move it up another hour and say that he missed the alarm. haha I haven't talked to him yet so I'm not sure how it that went over.
Side note: My computer is not working and right now the cause is unknown. I don't like Justin's comp, so I probably won't blog much unless I have something important to say, like next week Lost episode. This is also why I'm not commenting on blogs, because I don't have my favorites list.

Park pictures
Recently, myself, Justin and our friends Britta and Kris all went to a local park in downtown Fargo. Britta, is a photo journalist and as a wedding present she gave us a pretty frame and a promise to take a photo of us for the frame. The next few pics are from that outing to the park were she took lots of pictures of us and the park. I think I'll post more tomorrow, because I just realized that I didn't include the actual photo that we're going to use for the frame.

Eggs found in Dino mom
Rayna sent me this link and it is about a really cool discovery in China. The prep crew of the museum was preping out the skeleton of an oviraptor when they came across two eggs within it. Now we have oviraptor eggs so it was easy to determine from egg shape, and egg shell structure that this was oviraptor and not some wierd fluke. I'm not up on my biology, but apparently how the eggs were in there, or something made scientist at least in the articles i've read so far belive that this is more evidence of dinos being a cross between reptiles and birds. Well wish I had time to talk about this more because it's very interesting, but I have to get back to my paper. I've posted a pic of one of the eggs found in the dino mom and an artists version of an oviraptor below.

Random pictures and random news
Well below I have posted some random pictures that I've been meaning to put on here. I hope you like them.
In other news, Justin is now in Nevada for his job interview. Our friend Sarah just came back a few days ago and thinks that this would be a fun and interesting job. Please wish Justin the best of luck, when he left yesterday morning he was very nervous.
I just finished my last test today before finals. I can't believe that we are graduating soon and will enter the "real world" I really hope our future hold for us to be moving to Nevada, I definitely don't want to continue working for Target anymore it's time to move on from there. But there are not many geology opportunities here in Fargo.
Happier news is that this weekend my friend Britta and I are having a girlie day. We're starting at 2pm with some shopping for a new outfit, then eating at a Vietnamese restaurant that she really likes, then going over to her place and watching Sex&theCity, drink some appletinies then go out in our now outfits and hitting the downtown bars. Thankfully she lives right next to this area so we can walk. Justin was really jealous because while I'm out having fun, he'll be all by himself in the hotel in Nevada. Oh well. =)

Lost
Well after seeing the condition that poor Boone was in, I knew that he was doomed. Geeze, that plane did a number to him, collapsed lung, crushed leg, internal bleeding even in a hospital that would be lots of surgery. Of course at the same time Claire had to go into labor, and in the middle of the jungle no less. I was glad to see that the baby was normal looking, after all that hoopla the psychic gave her, I was expecting to see horns.
Poor Jack was determined to save Boone, man that blood transfusion was genius, go Sun! I cannot believe that Jack wanted to amputate Boones leg with that door thing. I understand why he wanted to do it, but with internal bleeding..geeze, even Boone knew it was useless. I was really surprised that Boone didn't pass on the transmission that he received before he passed away.
While all this was going on, Shannon and Sayid were having a romantic night. Too bad that couldn't last. Boy, that must have been a downer. While sis is getting some romancing, her brother is fighting to live.
I was really mad that Locke didn't stay around. Yeah, he could have kept lying about what happened, but at least it could have looked like he cared. Which I'm sure he does care, but it sure didn't look like that to Jack. Now Jacks out for blood, and it looks like all hell is going to break loose next week.
We've got to be really close to the end of the season. I don't remember if I said this in a previous post but according to TV Guide that did a Lost story, the show ends on a huge cliff hanger. Which, I suppose is not all that surprising but it will be agonizing to wait all summer. I cannot wait until the 1st season of Lost comes out on DVD. Apparently, there is a mini-movie that explains why/how the plane crashes. Wouldn't that be something if it had to do with those cursed numbers.

Fanatic Starwars Fans and other goings ons
Today in Targets around America, was the release of the new Star Wars Episode III toys. As the clocked neared 8am, a growing crowd started to accumulate outside our doors and they rushed in when the doors opened. Most were normal looking people. There were some father and sons, but mostly it was guys by themselves usually late twenties to early thirties scrambling to the the new Yoda or Chewie actionfigure. Then there were these two people and man and woman dressed like Jedi. It was quite a site. They had dark brown robes, the same brown pants and a reddish shirt. The guy sported a bright green mohawk, funny, I don't remember and Jedi's having mohawks. Anyways so they all swooped into the aisle and loaded up on action figures and any other item that had a Star Wars logo attached to it. I'm surprised they left anything. One guy looked like he bought every action figure character, and at $7 each, he was shelling out some major cash for these things. Well thankfully, after that group things settled back down again and we could resume our boring jobs.
Other events in our life right now is that Justin has applied for a job in Nevada at a gold mining company. Also, our friend Sarah has also applied, this company is hiring about 20 people and no experience is required. Well they both made it through the application process and the phone interview so now they are getting flown to Nevada. Sarah is going firstI think she's leaving next week and Justin is leaving when she returns on the 13th and he'll be back on the 17th. Our hope is that both Justin and Sarah get the job so we can all move in together. It's really hard not to get our hopes up, we keep talking about "the move" we even have both our parents recruited for moving. I hope this goes well.
In other news, after two years we finally got to turn in out ghetto $20 cell phones and get new ones. We each got a different one, but both take pictures and can play real songs as rings. We made sure that Verizon has service in the area that we could be moving too.

Lost
OH MY! I did not enjoy the ending of this show at all, Justin told me that they were going to kill a major character but boy it was painful to watch. Locke is finally starting to freak me out, I could not believe how much him and Boone had dug around that huge container thing. What is it anyways? I assumed that it was like a plane or something, but it looks like..well a container. I wonder why the "island powers" decided to have Locke lose the ability to move his legs? Was it so that Boone would go up there? If Locke wasn't in that condition, he would have gone up there. After that crash, I'm sure even Sayid wouldn't be able to get that radio working again. Speaking of, that was awesome how he fashioned those glasses for Sawyer. Ha ha he looked so hilarious in those glasses, what did Hurley say he looked like? Something to the effect of a messed up Harry Potter. Boy, Boone is in tough shape. I don't think the doc is going to be able to get save him. Did anyone else freak out when that light came on for Locke? Wow, what was that all about, did it take Locke sacrificing someone to get the damn thing to do something? I tell you what, after all that and then some light appears, I don't think I'd want that thing opened.
You might want to skip this part because this is stuff Justin told me that he has found on Dark Horizons. Locke gets it open, and crazy stuff starts to happen. The "island powers" start messing with everyone's head. Next season, is suppose to be really psychological, the island messing with people. Well, I suppose that's all pretty obvious. There is no way that Locke would come this far, and not finish getting that thing open. This island stuff is already messing with people too.
Next week looks crazy. The doc is trying to save Boone and Claire starts having a baby. Yikes.

Hanford: These are nuclear submarine reactor cores. This pit is full of them. The core reactor has been taken out so their not radioactive. The reason they are not buried is that the US has an agreement with Russia to beable to prove that we're decomishing submarines. They had to be on the surface so the Russians could fly over and see we're holding up our part of the deal.

This is Dry Falls. The cliffs you see used to be waterfalls as a result of the huge glacial floods that flooded this whole easten WA area. There was so much water flowing through this area that there was actually no water falling off the cliffs the water had filled this entire area up to the lip of the cliff.
