Well I am back from Seattle, I've been back for a few days but it's taken me this long to get resettled. Also, Justin and my brother wiped my computer because it was having major issues before I left so it's taken awhile to get this thing up and running.
Seattle was of course awesome. The train ride was great, a lady from Everette sat next to me and we had some fun conversations. Much to Jeni's surprise the train was 20 min early so she really had to book it to make it to the station. It was really great seeing her again, and boy did I miss Seattle and all the glorious green that was everywhere. Out here in North Dakota, everything is brown and dead and ugly. Anyways, so we were going to swing by her apartment and drop my stuff off and get some lunch at my fav restaurant Red Robin when we notice a huge oil stain coming from beneath her car. So her dad came out and looked at the car real quick then they had to drive her car down to the car shop. So much for lunch. So now we had to drive around in her Mom's car till her car is fixed. We drove out to Mercer Island to pick up Jeni's little girl, Emma. I will post pics of her as soon as I can because she was the cutest thing ever. The whole week I was there, there was very little crying or bad tempers, she was the sweetest 6 month old. Emma and I had fun playing and I even got to watch a "first" as Emma rolled over for the first time. That was so exciting, Jeni and I were cheering and clapping and Emma was so happy, just a big smile.
On New Years we went to Jeni's sisters apartment and chilled there. We had some drinks, ate some pizza and played Scatagories until midnight, then we watched the Space Needle fireworks from the balcony.
I got to visit one of my high school buddies, Rayna. I hadn't seen her since basically graduation so I had a blast catching up with her at Starbucks about what's been going on with our lives.
I went in with Jeni to work one day, she works right on the waterfront at Argosy Cruises. So I spent the day at the Seattle Art Museum and in the shops around the waterfront.
On my last evening, Jeni, myself, Kara and their friend Sarena went to my absolute favorite restaurant in down town Seattle, Bucca de Beppos. MMmmm man that place is awesome. It's family style Italian, so everything is made to feed 3-4 people. They do now also have a smaller portions that serve 2-3. Beppos has a great atmosphere, and it's fun and loud. Love it.
I still have like half a roll of film to use up, so I guess I'll be taking lots of pictures of my cat haha. No hopefully I'll get some time to get to Mom and Dads and take some pics of our house and property, they should look really nice with all the snow we have.
P.S: Rayna and Kate, since my computer was wiped I lost my favorites so I lost my links to the both of your blogs. If you could e-mail them to me that would be awsome!
