Spin
A couple weeks ago I found out that one of the women I work with, Kimberly, goes to the same gym as we do. So she was telling me about all the different classes she has tried and which instructor she liked. Then we decided that we should do a class together, and that class ended up being Spin. So for an hour yesterday, I peddled and sweated and hoped that something traumatic would happen to someone in the class so we could stop. That was the hardest workout I had ever been through. My legs are so sore...I dread leaving the apartment because that means I have to go down stairs, and I also hate getting home because I have to go up them. I also do not enjoy sitting because my rear is sore from the bike seat. But the sad thing is, I enjoyed it, and I'll be going back.

I don't think I was any more sore on Sunday, I actually was out and about at the mall. I think for me, Saturday was the worst day.
We're going to start hiking also. We've got a co-worker that just wrote a book on hiking in the Las Vegas valley with your dog, and she's already working on a 2nd book so she likes having people come out with her and her dogs. We're just waiting on her to get her act together and start planning on some hikes. This is also the same woman who I went to spin with. We're also talking about doing some 6am classes at the gym like yoga, and power core. I'll let ya know how that goes.
Good grief! I feel like schlubby McSchlubsalot compared to you guys!
2 of my friends here go to spin class..and want me to go...but I haven't yet. It sounds fun for people who have the endourance for it, but sadly w/my Asthma I must work my self up to the point I can maintain aerobic activity for 1 hr before I even attempt a class (or I leave early get embarrassed and never go back like my step class incindent). Oh oh oh, but I can swim for 20 min now before I am too tired and give up!
I think I would like hiking, and I know Danny would but Germany's weather during October-March just doesn't make it that possible. I am just not interested in slipping on ice, or being soaked.
