So I guess the big question is if the guy is lying or not? Sayid would be the one to know, but he does seem jaded from the death of Shannon. Sawyer is still pissing me off, now with trying to bully Hurley. Hurley should have never helped him, but I guess he's too nice.
I was so mad that the count down was stopped. But now we know that there are a few grace seconds built in there. One of the symbols on there looked like a bomb but couldn't tell from the rest.
Is next week a rerun again? Thats the way it looked to me. But we may finally know what happened to Claire when she was gone, and big surprise more Darma Initiative connections.
Update: Just found out this morning that in Sayid's flashback when he is in the US truck about to get dumped off. The girl in the picture is Kate.

People on TVWoP were saying the symbols looked egyptian, I think there was a reed and an owl? I dunno, but I was expecting those special doors to slide down and trap them in the hatch. They would have never mentioned those doors if they ar not going to use them.
I fell asleep on LOST (it was the day that I had to deal with the plumber) and missed everything after the first 10 minutes. I'm kind of glad I did though, because when I read the discussion in TWoP, I was freaked out of my mind. Yeah, I think that dude is totally an "Other." And yes, Jack is still a flaming arse. I also read about the hieroglyphs, and TWoP had a link to one site that said it spelled "Cause death." But I don't know about that. There was also the theory running around that they symbols represent the other Dharma locales on the island. Interesting, but creepy stuff. I look forward to staying awake next week...
Yeah you can always tell when they are not having a new episode the next week. I don't remember what the voiceover guy says, but it might be "this season on lost..." so yes the next new epi will be about Claire, but who knows when that will be.
