We stayed at the Balboa Inn which was built in 1929. It's a great hotel with a fabulous entrance. It does need some help in terms of repair but we love staying there. One of the reasons I love this hotel are the small details that you don't see at modern hotels, like our towel rack was held up by a pair of swans, and our soap dish was a fish with a seashell on it's tail. Marvelous. Also the weekend we got to watch a wedding right outside our room.

That hotel looks amazing--maybe I'll have to go sometime. At first I misread and thought you went to Costa Rica--well, the photo of the hotel looks like it could be in Costa Rica!
Very awesome looking hotel. Now post Stefie! I can't talk about the season finale of Lost, because well...I still don't have tv! They actually said it would be about $150 a month for basic cable so yeah, still going to be waiting for the series to end, then come out on DVD. Oh well how's the Stefie?
