Today I had the pleasure of going to the walk in clinic here in Fargo for about two hours. Since yesterday, I'd had a sharp pain in the right side of my chest whenever I would breath in deeply. Today it got worse, every breath or movement brought sharps pains and discomfort. Justin called his dad who is a paramedic/firefighter and so I told him what was going on and he thought I have an infection in my lung tissue lining but I don't remember the name, and that I should go into the clinic. So we go to the walk in, and it was quit painful just trying to walk down the hall to the darn clinic. The wait was pretty short, there was a dude in there wearing one of those paper masks, so I made sure to sit away from him.
I got called and Justin came with. I got through all the normal question on allergies, meds with the nurse and I got to put on one of those wonderful robe that are open in the back, but thankfully I only needed my shirt off so I didn't feel so bad.
Then the doc came in and she asked me more questions then poked and prodded around. She said that she was going to need chest x-rays and blood work. Hurray. So a nice looking guy comes in carrying a scary looking box. Blood work time. I have never had blood work before so I had no idea how this would go. He tells me he needs to fill 4 vials for different tests. I was fine up to the forth vial when he started having trouble filling it up. Then I started to get light headed, now I'm not really sure what exactly happens after this but Justin was trying to get me to stay focused then all of a sudden four nurses just appeared and all in this little examination room. They hauled me up from my seat and got me to lay down on the little bed thing, lowered my head, elevated my feet and tried had me wiggle my toes because my cirulation needed a boost. The nurses said I was super pale, but I suppose that's what happens when one almost passes out. Justin said that my eyes were rolling back when getting that last blood drawn.
Well after that whole exciting ordeal. The x-ray guy came in and asked if I was feeling well enough to take a couple x-rays. So we went and took the few x-rays and that went fine. But too and from the x-ray room, I think I ran into each nurse that came in while I was on the verge of passing out. They all had to ask how I was feeling, which, I know is very nice of them but was kinda embarrassing.
The doctor comes back in and says "So I heard you had an exciting time during bloodwork." ha ha. Anyways, I have nothing real serious, it's what Justins dad guessed I have an infection in my lung tissue. But all I have to take is some ibprofen or alieve. I got home and I slept for like two hours, I was exhausted.

Glad to hear you're doing okay. That's pretty scary! It's good to know that the people at the clinic were helpful.
Yes the people were wonderful. Justin did claify some things for me. I had asked him when did the nurses come in, here I thought I was concious the whole time but actually I did zonk out there for a few moments. The guy drawing the blood was telling me to breath deep, and Justin told him I couldn't because it hurt, so he went out into the hall and grab some nurses. Yeah I don't remember any of that. Ugh, boy i'm glad thats over.
